We at impruneta.de take our responsibility seriously. That is why all packaging of your shipments that we provide for you is made of resource-saving materials.

In addition, we have adapted our shipping and logistical processing in such a way that the CO² emissions reduced in the long term - an important step for us towards an even more sustainable future. 

Alternatives to conventional plastic foams are used for this purpose, which save resources. Safety during the transport of the ordered products is maintained.

This alternative is Flo Pak Green. Flo Pak Green is made from 100% recycled material. Minimal use of raw materials means conservation of resources and low weight during shipping. The energy required in the production of paper cushioning materials is far lower. No quantities of renewable raw materials such as corn or other starch products are subtracted from food production.

The degradation process

Enzymes are added to the polystyrene (PS) material during production. This has no influence on the cushioning properties. Flo Pak Green is decomposed by microorganisms in combination with added enzymes. The polystyrene is then degraded to carbon dioxide, water and humus without chemical pollutants. There are no residues such as heavy metals or rottable plastic residues. The time until complete decomposition is approx. 9 – 60 months and depends on the environmental influences. This has been confirmed by independent laboratories in the USA and Europe.

Excellent cushioning properties

The closed 8-shaped shape offers the highest protection for all goods to be shipped. Flo Pak Green cushions and protects much better than paper cushioning material, does not dust and does not crumble when rubbed during transport.

Antistatic - no adhesion to the product when unpacked.

Our wrapping paper consists of Recycled fibres, which saves both water and energy consumption as well as valuable wood reserves in production.  Reduced CO² emissions and the Resource-saving production we can ship your parcels in an environmentally friendly and sustainable way! 

As a substitute for classic plastic packing tape, we use high-quality paper tape. This packing tape is made of kraft paper, which is completely recyclable together with the natural rubber adhesive and at the same time has a high adhesive strength. This means that there are no residues during gluing and it is no longer necessary to detach the packing tape from the box when disposing of it.
