Manufactory Terrecotte Benocci

The ancient craft of terracotta production is a family tradition in the Benocci manufactory.

For more than two centuries, from generation to generation, clay pots for oil, tubs for candied fruit, hookahs and, of course, pots and ornaments for the garden have been produced.

Thanks to the passion that the traditional company has for this ancient art, the manufacturing processes can be renewed, leaving the system of manual work unchanged.

Today, in two modern plants in Sinalunga and Lucignano, the Manufacture works with artisanal and at the same time advanced working methods to obtain a high-quality product.

The vessels, amphorae and jugs can be found in the gardens of lovers of a natural and genuine product like our terracotta all over the world.

The raw material is Galestro, a gray rock. This gives the products high quality. The clay created from this raw material is reflected in the special color of the terracotta and protects the products from bad environmental influences.
