Assembly instructions
Usually, for stability and safety reasons, the foot is always attached to the base on which the element is placed. The attachment can be done with a suitable adhesive, cement or lime. Sometimes an iron rod of the appropriate length can also be inserted into the capital and then remain inside the middle section.
After the base has been attached, the other parts are assembled, all of which must be glued together to increase stability. Each piece offers enough space to apply the right amount of glue or cement.
The end piece cannot be planted.

*Ensuring winter hardiness
In order to enjoy your terracotta containers for a long time, you should consider the following points:
To prevent water from accumulating, you should place the container on terracotta feet or underlay the container with wooden strips. This prevents waterlogging and thus prevents frost damage to the object, figure, pot and plant.
There must be no water in vessels, water bowls, fountains, bird baths, saucers, etc. in winter or frost.
Cover the hole at the bottom with a curved clay disc and make a drainage with expanded clay and a fleece.
In a hardware store or garden centre, you can get expanded clay with a grain size of 8 – 16 mm. Then cover the expanded clay with a generously cut piece of garden fleece up to the edge. This prevents the soil from seeping through and thus clogging the drainage hole. A nice side effect, the terrace is not soiled by the irrigation water.
With a good potted plant soil, you also ensure better aeration of the soil and an optimal combination of nutrients and water. Now your plant can help itself to water as needed.
Hint! In most cases, the insurance covers any damage, e.g. rear-end collisions, storm damage or theft.
